This short film was inspired by Edison Lighthouse’s song, “Love Grows (Where My Rosemary
Goes.” Originally a sweet song, written about the artist’s lover, I took this song in a different
direction – the point-of-view of a stalker, obsessing over a young woman named Rosemary.
The main challenge of this film was that, until the very final shot, there was only one person
involved – me. Due to limited filming time, and during less-than-ideal hours, I knew that the only
way I could really make this film in the timeframe I had was to film myself. While this did have its
difficulties, it was also a blessing. I was on my own schedule, I knew the vision I had for the film,
and I was not asking anyone else to add to their already busy schedules to help with this.
The film starts out with our protagonist starting her day, and the audience is led to believe that
we are just watching this woman doing her daily activities. However, as the film goes on, the daily
activities that we have access to get progressively more unsettling and invasive.

This film won 3rd place at the 2026 ICC Film Festival.
