“All In” is a short film displaying the parallels of romantic love and gambling.
The main challenge of this short film was getting access to film inside a casino. It is forbidden to
film inside a casino; much less, get into a casino, as I myself was not yet 21 at the time of filming.
After speaking to multiple team members at the Par-A-Dice Casino in East Peoria, IL, we were
granted access to film during their brief hours of being closed. Our time frame? 6:30am–8:00am.
After check-in processes, this only gave us about an hour to film. Due to multiple planned transitions
that required precision when framing, and knowing that re-shooting was not an option, this was a
daunting task. But, I am thankful to say that it came together in the end.
