The origin of the name Orange Peel Studios, this stop-motion short film is my favorite work. The
prompt was simple: create a stop-motion video. The rest was completely up to me.
Within a few seconds, I immediately knew the direction I was going to take this project.
To be frank, I haven’t the slightest idea where this plot came from. But I’m proud to call it mine.
Peeled Away opens with two oranges, husband and wife, sitting in a grocery store. When the wife
gets taken, the husband rolls into action (literally), stopping at nothing to be with his wife.
As silly as the concept of two oranges in love may be, I am happy to say that this short film won
1st place at the 2025 ICC Film Festival.
